Tagoreando

“Tagoreando” is a crossroads where Indian tradition and flamenco meet to give life to the immortal poetry of “Rabindranath Tagore”. At the heart of the show, two dancers, one Indian and one flamenco, intertwine their body languages to narrate universal stories of love, spirituality and nature. Through their movements, the audience witnesses a dialogue that transcends borders, where the refined and spiritual gesture of Indian dance merges with the passion and strength of flamenco.

The guitar and flamenco singing dialogue with the sounds of the tabla and the violin, which appears as a special guest on some occasions, creating a soundtrack that breathes the essence of both cultures. Five artists on stage lead the spectator on a sensory and poetic journey that explores the universality of art, inviting us to reflect on the beauty of the encounter between two traditions with deep roots and a spirit open to the world.

The work pays homage to “Rabindranath Tagore”, a constantly evolving creator who left us a legacy imbued with love for nature, spirituality and humanity. His verses, which inspire this show, resonate through music and movement:

“It seems to me, my love, that before the day of life dawned
you were standing under a cascade of happy dreams,
filling your blood with its liquid turbulence.”
