On a night filled with emotion and duende, we had the privilege of welcoming one of the great icons of flamenco art: the incomparable Mariquilla. Her visit to Teatro Flamenco Granada, on the occasion of our grand opening, was much more than a symbolic gesture—it was a blessing for this new space born from a deep love for flamenco.
Welcoming her into our home was a true honor. Mariquilla not only represents a fundamental part of Granada’s dance history, but also embodies the deepest values of this art form: dedication, passion, and authenticity.
She enriched us with her presence, with the mastery she has forged over decades of artistic journey, with the wisdom that only the greats possess, and with her immense warmth, which touched the hearts of everyone who shared this magical night.
