Synopsis
‘Lluvia de Tierra’, the creation of Úrsula Moreno, is a production steeped in the essence of Málaga that explores the deepest emotions of flamenco through an interpretation that intertwines the tradition and soul of its land.
Premiered at the IV Bienal de Flamenco de Málaga in 2015, this work is born from the intimate connection with the Andalusian land, and especially with Malaga, a city that, since ancient times, has been a melting pot of cultures and emotions that converge in flamenco.
It is a show that speaks of Málaga not only as a geographical place, but as a state of being, a legacy of strength, pain, beauty and joy.
For Úrsula Moreno, who carries Malaga in the depths of her spirit, ‘Lluvia de Tierra’ is more than a staging; it is an experience that invites us to understand flamenco in its purest and most authentic form, that which connects the human soul with the elements of the earth.
Ursula, as the spokesperson for the Málaga that she feels in her soul, takes to the stage as a medium that allows the earth itself to express itself, carrying the responsibility of transmitting the weight and wisdom of her homeland. Every time Tierra’s rain falls on the stage, Málaga comes alive, and the audience witnesses the connection between the artist and her deepest roots.
